SUSAN J. PILLER, J.D.
Susan Piller is a human resources and employee relations consultant and attorney in Houston, Texas. She has 26 years of experience counseling and training managers on employment and human resource issues, assisting in the development of policy and employee communications, performing due diligence services, negotiating labor contracts, and representing clients in administrative proceedings involving employment laws and regulations.
Prior to beginning her consulting practice in 2001, Piller was the Senior Vice President for Human Resources and Employee Relations for Waste Management, Inc., a Houston–based industry leader in providing waste management services in North America. She held similar positions prior to that at Browning–Ferris Industries, Inc. and USA Waste Services, Inc. Piller began her career as an attorney at Fulbright and Jaworski in Houston, Texas.
Piller obtained a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas.
PATRICIA A. KIMBALL, PH.D.
Patricia Kimball is the New Product Development Manager for Waste Management’s LampTracker Division. In this capacity, Kimball develops new products and services for recycling Universal Wastes such as fluorescent lamps, batteries and electronics.
Kimball has over 20 years experience in business development and management. In 1987, she successfully founded a medical waste collection and treatment company with a group of investors. That firm was acquired two years later by Waste Management, Inc.
Kimball worked with Waste Management in a variety of managerial roles until 1996 when she joined Browning–Ferris Industries, Inc. and expanded her experience as the Business Development Manager and Director of Planning for the company’s Medical Waste Division. In 2001, Kimball joined San-I-Pak Pacific, Inc. as the Vice President of Development. Kimball served as Vice President of Development for Sharps Compliance, Inc from 2002 until 2008 working with channel partners, communities and national account customers to provide solutions for medical sharps disposal.
Kimball received a Doctorate in Microbiology from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from Arizona State University.
