Site Security and System Redundancy

Through our partnership with Rackspace, we are able to offer our clients an application housed in a world-class, secured data center with a 99.999% uptime guarantee. This state-of-the-art network uses 3 levels of security, N+1 redundant HVAC systems, and a fully switched Cisco network engineered with full redundancy to ensure there is no single point of failure. To provide multiple redundancies in the flow of information to and from the data centers, Rackspace partners with a minimum of nine network providers. The servers housing our clients’ data utilize data redundancy, daily tape backups with offsite storage and rotation, and professionally managed disaster recovery processes. A dedicated Cisco firewall prevents any unauthorized access to the server while Alert Logic network detection devices monitor the network perimeter.

VERISIGN, INC.

As an online service provider, it is essential that we deliver the highest levels of trust and security so that our customers can be certain that our site is genuine and that the information being sent via Web browsers and other devices remains private and confidential. To accomplish this level of security, TrueNorth uses VeriSign, Inc., the leading provider of Internet trust services. VeriSign's Secure Server ID Certificates provide secure online transactions and the encrypted transmission of sensitive data. Based on the "public/private key" encryption model - the same technology used to protect nuclear missile codes - VeriSign Secure Server IDs provide the strongest security available today.

SECURE SOCKETS LAYER TECHNOLOGY

All data transmitted to and from the TrueNorth application is encrypted with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. Secure Sockets Layer is a technology developed by Netscape and adopted by all vendors producing related Web software. It negotiates and employs the essential functions of mutual authentication, data encryption, and data integrity for secure transactions.
